BETA-CAROTENE

A natural pigment found in abundance in sea vegetables and invertebrates like krill, Beta Carotene is vital to maintaining the rich red, orange and yellow coloration in many tropical fish. In the wild, fish receive the beta carotene they need for their color from the marine invertebrates they eat.

New Life Spectrum® is rich in beta carotene. The pigment in our formula is a natural part of our ingredients like Whole Antarctic Krill and Red Algae. Spectrum also includes beta carotene derived from sources like marigold, chili extract and paprika.

In addition to it’s coloration properties, this natural pigment is rich in antioxidants and is converted to Vitamin A and thus nutritionally beneficial for your aquarium companions.

In addition to beta-carotene, New Life Spectrum® ingredients provide a rich complex of vitamins. However, Spectrum also includes vitamin supplements to ensure that your fish’s nutrition daily values are met for a long, healthy life in your aquarium.
